How to Make Minor Visual Edits to Media DraftsMedia Agents generate fully designed visual drafts—such as Instagram Stories, social posts, and thumbnails.
But sometimes, you may want to make small adjustments to better highlight a person, reposition the logo, or tighten the layout.
The Edit tool built into Editor lets you apply minor visual edits instantly, without modifying your Media Agent's template.
Let’s walk through how it works.
In the video example, we start with a Media Agent draft generated from a story about Gavin Newsom.
The Instagram Story features:
Gavin Newsom’s image
A headline
Your newsroom logo
A background and stylistic mask
To begin editing, simply click Edit on the draft's preview.
Inside the editor:
Select the logo
Increase its size by dragging the corner or by setting the size manually (e.g., 24)
Reposition the logo toward the center or wherever feels more balanced
This helps give your visual stronger branding or better spacing.
To ensure the main subject (e.g., Gavin Newsom) stands out:
Select the image layer
Bring it forward or position it higher in the composition
Adjust its location so important visual elements—like Newsom himself or the California flag—are more centered and visible
This keeps your story visually clear and eye-catching.
Once you’re satisfied:
Click Save to update the layout
Download the visual directly from inside the editor
OR go back to the Drafts page and download it from there
Either method gives you a final, ready-to-post image.
Important note:
Any edits you save inside the visual editor will carry over to all future drafts generated by that Media Agent.
For example:
You increased the logo size
You moved the copy
You centered the main image
If you now generate a new draft—such as a story on Epstein emails—the new design will reflect those edits:
Text position changes
Logo placement changes
Layout adjustments
This is useful when you want consistent branding across multiple drafts.
If you want to adjust a draft visually without changing the Media Agent template, follow this workflow:
Open the draft
Make your changes visually (repositioning, resizing, flipping, etc.)
Download the image directly from the editor
Press X to exit without saving
This way:
You get the final edited version to post
Your Media Agent stays untouched
Other drafts remain unaffected
This is ideal for one-time tweaks, urgent edits, or story-specific adjustments.
Final TipsUse saved edits when you want consistent layout changes across all future drafts.
Use download-without-saving for one-off adjustments.
Don’t hesitate to move layers, resize elements, or highlight key subjects—Media Agents are flexible and designed for rapid visual refinement.
