In this video, we’ll learn how to add and manage news sources (RSS feeds) inside Editor.
Adding News Sources in EditorAdding news sources (feeds) allows your newsroom to automatically collect stories from across the web and reproduce them using your Agents. Here’s how it works:
From your Editor workspace, click on the “+” button in the sidebar and select Feed.
This opens the feed search window.
Type the website of the news outlet you want to follow — for example,https://www.cbsnews.com or https://www.theguardian.com.
Tip: Always include the domain ending (like
.com,.org,.net).
Without it, Editor won’t be able to search and fetch results properly.
Editor’s algorithm will automatically search for all RSS feeds exposed by that website.
For CBS News, you might see results like:
CBS News – U.S. Latest
CBS News – World News
CBS News – New York
Each of these represents a different section of the publication.
Click Follow next to any feed you’d like to add.
Once added, they will appear in your workspace feed list.
For example, you can follow:
CBS World News
CBS New York
These feeds will now bring new articles directly into your workspace.
Sometimes, you might not find feeds for certain websites.
This usually happens because:
The site doesn’t publicly expose its RSS feeds.
Its content is behind a paywall or restricted (e.g., CNN).
If no feeds are found, try another section or publication.
Once your feeds are added, you can:
View their latest articles directly in your workspace.
Drag them into specific folders to keep your newsroom organized.
Use your Agents to automatically reproduce stories in your preferred formats.
SummaryThat’s it! You’ve successfully added a new feed to your workspace.
You can now:
Browse articles from your favorite sources.
Reproduce them with your text and media agents.
Keep your newsroom organized and efficient.
